Roles & Responsibilities
- This role is on a call out basis and perform below scopes in line with API RP 2D 7 Company’s requirement.
- Carry out quarterly, half yearly and annual or any other Company set Inspections and Maintenance on all cranes at offshore platforms.
- Carry out hydraulic hoses and wire ropes change-out program.
- Participation and compliance with the Permit to Work system.
- Carryout corrective maintenance.
- Perform inspection on all lifting/rigging equipment on platform at set frequency and provide a detailed report.
- Perform scheduled sampling oil & grease, analysis for crane equipment.
- Electrical technician shall perform preventive, corrective and inspection of the related electrical and instrumentation on offshore cranes and lifting equipment.
Requirements
- Engineering Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of working experience related to total maintenance of offshore pedestal crane and other lifting equipment.
- Experienced in offshore crane and lifting equipment & rigging operation, maintenance & inspection.
- Experienced in Electrical inspection, troubleshooting of crane’s electrical, SLI, hydraulic systems.
